Advantages of HLA hemizygous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation: 1. More than 90% of patients requiring transplantation have at least a hemizygous donor. 2. 2. Stem cells are available at the time of transplantation. 3.No racial restrictions. 4.Save the cost of HLA matching and finding an unrelated donor. 5.There are often several donors to choose from. 6.Donor lymphocytes can be infused again for treatment in case of relapse, especially for accelerated or acute changes of chronic granulocytic leukemia. 7. The relapse rate after advanced AML transplantation is low.
