Suicide risk level assessment: (1) Low risk: Suicidal ideation that flashes up and can be self-rejected. (2) Low to moderate risk: frequent suicidal ideation without action, or the ability to quickly dismiss the idea of action when it occurs. (3) Moderate risk: Suicidal thoughts not only appear frequently but also have specific plans to take action, such as buying drugs, hanging, or jumping from a building. However, they are not prepared to take action. (4) High risk: There are preparatory actions for suicide, such as choosing a place, buying drugs, distributing property, arranging afterlife, etc. For moderate and high risk individuals, attention should be paid to clarifying the reasons why the final action was not taken, and these reasons are important reference factors for developing prevention plans and psychological interventions. (5) Extreme risk: Suicide attempt becomes the chief complaint in this visit.
