What is the HPV virus?

The HPV virus is a human papillomavirus that causes proliferation of the squamous epithelium of the skin and mucous membranes. The HPV virus is associated with precancerous lesions, while the low-risk HPV virus is associated with condyloma acuminata and oral mucosal lesions. HPV virus infection needs to be combined with the patient’s symptoms and sexual history to be handled accordingly, and the common HPV viruses clinically include the following: 1. High-risk HPV viruses: such as HPV 16, 18, 31, 33, 35 and other high-risk infections, and cervical High intraepithelial malignancy, cervical cancer, etc. It can also be related to rectal cancer, oral cancer and tonsil cancer. Most people with high-risk infections have a transient infection, i.e., not a persistent infection, and need to maintain a good mood, eat properly, exercise appropriately, and improve body resistance. However, about 20% of people may develop persistent infection, which can lead to cervical endoepithelial malignancy and even cervical cancer and other cancers. For people with persistent high-risk type of infection, colposcopy and other related examinations are recommended. If negative, regular re-examinations will be conducted in 3-6 months, while improving diet and lifestyle habits to increase body resistance; those who are positive need to choose physical therapy or surgical removal depending on the level of the lesion; 2. Low-risk HPV viruses: such as HPV type 6 and 11 infections, which can cause benign diseases such as external genital warts, and cervical intraepithelial low-grade malignant changes, such as condyloma acuminata, more infectious, need to be given laser or surgical treatment according to the condition. The actual fact is that you can find a lot of people who are not able to get a good deal on a lot of things.
