Causes of diabetic ketoacidosis

Diabetic ketoacidosis, with hyperglycemia, ketosis and acidosis as the main manifestations, is a serious metabolic disorder syndrome caused by the combined effect of insufficient insulin and excessive antagonistic insulin hormone.
