Decoction is usually done in a casserole, first soak a dose of medicine with water for 1-2 hours (the amount of water to be put depends on the amount of Chinese medicine, flowers, leaves and other more water-absorbing herbs should be put more appropriately, roots and stems, minerals and other herbs absorb less water and should be put less appropriately, usually about 500ml per dose), then put it on the fire, start with martial fire, change to civil fire after opening the pot, keep it boiling, usually boiling and decoction on Half an hour or so after boiling, the juice is filtered and poured out (be careful not to dry the water, if the amount of water is too little, regardless of the length of the decoction, pour out the juice). Add water again, decoct as above, filter, mix the juice from both decoctions and take it in two doses. Take one dose daily. You can also decoct 2-3 doses of medicine at the same time and put them in the refrigerator to be taken in different doses.
