In the counseling clinic, I encounter many parents who bring their children to counseling not because their children are suffering from some kind of mental illness, but often because their children’s academic performance has dropped, resulting in conflicts between parents and children, causing children to be bored with school or unwilling to continue studying, and parents feel helpless and come to counseling. In today’s society, both parents and children are facing a lot of pressure, and most children are only children, as parents dote on their children can be said to be reasonable, so under what circumstances and forced them to conflict with their children? That is the results, good grades, for many parents can tolerate more shortcomings, bad grades, then the child seems to have no merit to speak of. But here I want to remind parents, do not only look at the results, not every child study hard will definitely have good grades, a person’s ability to learn depends on many factors, such as: the environment in which you grow up, learning methods, etc., the good or bad academic performance is not the only criterion for judging children, of course, hard work is very important, may be parents themselves imagine, when you were in school and how the results? As a student, to maintain physical and mental health, good adaptation to the environment is the most important.
