Do all people with hepatitis B need treatment

At present, hepatitis B antiviral drugs are very widely used for a variety of reasons, and not all people infected with the hepatitis B virus need treatment. In general, the following two groups require antiviral therapy: patients with hepatitis B who have repeatedly and significantly elevated transaminases require antiviral therapy; HBeAg-negative cirrhosis with HBVDNA load higher than 10^3copies/ml and HBeAg-positive cirrhosis with HBVDNA load higher than 10^4copies/ml require antiviral therapy. Antiviral therapy is not indicated for chronic hepatitis B virus infection with normal and mildly elevated transaminases.
