Efficacy and effects of drospirenone tablets

Didrogestrel tablets are an oral progestin that brings the endometrium into the secretory phase while preventing estrogen-induced endometrial hyperplasia and the risk of cancer, and can be used for various diseases in which endogenous progesterone is insufficient. Specific effects are as follows: 1. Dysmenorrhea: Didrogestrel can reduce the level of prostaglandins in menstrual blood of patients with dysmenorrhea, thus relieving pain. From day 5 to day 25 of the menstrual cycle, take 10mg orally twice daily; 2. Endometriosis: After administration of dydrogesterone tablets, the ectopic endometrium necroses, atrophies and eventually disappears under the action of progesterone. From day 5 to day 25 of the menstrual cycle, take 10mg orally 2-3 times a day; 3. Secondary amenorrhea: Didrogestrel tablets can strengthen the luteal function of the patient and thus normalize menstruation, while protecting the endometrium. From day 11 to day 25 of the menstrual cycle, take 10mg orally twice daily; 4. Dysfunctional uterine bleeding: Functional uterine bleeding is related to low progesterone levels in the body and mostly occurs in perimenopausal patients. Progesterone supplementation can be given by administering 10mg of drospirenone tablets twice a day for 5-7 days; 5. Pre-eclampsia or habitual abortion due to progesterone deficiency: Drospirenone maintains the uterus in a quiet state by improving the tolerance of the uterus to ensure a smooth pregnancy. 6. Infertility due to luteal deficiency: Take 10 mg orally daily for 6 cycles on days 14-25 of the menstrual cycle. Before activating dydrogesterone for abnormal bleeding, first determine the cause of bleeding. For patients with unexplained vaginal bleeding and those with pre-eclampsia, consult a doctor promptly for specific medication, subject to a doctor’s interview. In addition, this drug is prohibited for adolescents under 18 years of age.
