Suffering pain is not a good solution!

Headache has become an “urban disease” with a high incidence in summer. With the popularity of air conditioning, the temperature difference between indoor and outdoor, people do not pay attention to adjust the temperature in and out of the room, these factors can increase the severity of headache. In addition, lack of sleep, mental fatigue, emotional stress and irregular life can trigger headaches. The most common type of headache in urban areas is tension headache, which accounts for 80% to 90% of all headaches. Whenever a headache strikes, many people choose the negative attitude of “tolerate it if you can”, which is not desirable. Headaches are often a red flag for many diseases and can even be life-threatening if left untreated. In order to prevent headaches, it is especially important to pay attention to regular work and rest, and to keep the air in air-conditioned rooms fresh; at the same time, avoid high temperatures, bright light and noise. Once you have a headache, you should change to a cool, quiet environment, take a hot bath, and take some analgesic drugs under the guidance of your doctor. Many people have the misconception that “headache is not a disease” and often deal with headache in the wrong way. According to the survey, as many as 53% of the respondents have at least one headache a day, most of them (77%) use rest and sleep to relieve the headache, 35% take medication on their own, and less than 1700 seek medical consultation. Especially if the headache is accompanied by nausea, vomiting, fever, weakness, hemiplegia, stiff neck, unconsciousness, or if the headache is sudden and severe, you should see a doctor as soon as possible because these abnormal headaches may be caused by meningitis or intracranial hemorrhage. There are many causes of headache, which are usually not visible on the outside. Life stress, improper working posture and vascular diseases may cause headache, which not only affects the quality of life, but also has unimaginable consequences in serious cases. If you have headache, you should consult a doctor as soon as possible to find out the cause of the headache. Taking medicine on your own can only temporarily relieve the headache, but it will delay the best treatment time. To prevent and treat headache, you should follow the following three no’s: ignore headache, do not take medicine indiscriminately, and do not use busyness as an excuse.
