Gallbladder stones, does it matter if it doesn’t hurt?

Some people think, “I’ve had gallbladder stones for many years and have never had any pain, so it doesn’t matter. In fact, this is a misconception. Gallbladder stones can lead to chronic inflammation of gallbladder. Although there is no abdominal pain attack, if the history of the disease is long, or if the gallbladder stones are large in size, gallbladder neck stones, gallbladder atrophy and gallbladder wall thickening, it can also be hazardous to health, and in a few cases, it can develop into gallbladder cancer. Therefore, regular ultrasound examination should be performed, and once the loss of gallbladder function or malignant tendency is detected, surgery should be performed in time.
