Heart disease also needs “new” medicine to cure

The phrase “heart disease requires heart medicine” has been said by too many patients and their families in outpatient clinics in order to reject the doctor’s recommendation to use medication. It is true that “heart disease requires heart medicine” is a true saying, but it is also a sigh of relief from our ancestors when they could not find effective drugs to treat heart disease. In this day and age, we need to keep up with the times for such a famous saying, because current scientific research has found effective “new” drugs to treat heart disease. Scientific research has found that the neurotransmitters in the human brain are related to human emotions, whether it is tension, anxiety, depression, fear, all from the amount of these neurotransmitters change. If the amount of these neurotransmitters to stabilize the normal state, you can adjust the mood, the so-called drugs can treat heart disease that means this. Of course, we do not deny the important role of psychotherapy in the treatment of heart disease, but do not use psychotherapy as an excuse to refuse medication. Psychotherapy and medication are like our right and left hands. In the face of mental illness, why should we give up one of our strong arms? Wouldn’t both hands work better together? In terms of the current treatment of common psychological disorders, not all people are suitable or can do psychotherapy, some heart disease not only need “new” drugs, but also need a relatively long period of medication.
