It is necessary to establish the correct method of pronunciation. 1.Breathing Breathing is the power source of pronunciation, and it is especially crucial to make a beautiful voice. Just like the key to judge the goodness of a sports car is to look at its motor. Only with correct breathing can we have correct pronunciation and make a beautiful sound. There are several common breathing styles: (1) Clavicular breathing Inhaling with the shoulders raised, but because the lungs are small at the top and large at the bottom, so the inspiratory volume is smaller, and it is more inefficient to breathe in this way when speaking. (2)Thoracic breathing The chest expands outward when inhaling, and the inspiratory volume is centered. (3) abdominal breathing The abdomen pushes downward and outward when inhaling, so that the inspiratory volume is large and the air is inhaled most deeply. (4) Thoracoabdominal breathing is a combination of thoracic and abdominal breathing. There is a diaphragm between the chest and lungs and the abdomen, if you can use the diaphragm when inhaling, you can make the inspiratory volume greater, the use of gas more flexible, I recommend this type of breathing. How to practice breathing by yourself (1) Practice should be done in a comfortable and relaxed state. If you feel dizzy when practicing, you should stop and promptly ask if the practice is correct. (2) At first, you can practice lying down with one hand in front of your chest and the other in front of your abdomen. The nose slowly inhale, feel the rise of the chest and abdomen, and then slowly exhale from the mouth, while controlling the abdomen slowly shrink. (3) as above, but the nose inhale faster, exhale or slowly. (4) Switch to sitting or standing to practice steps 2 and 3. (5) As above, but exhale with a “hiss ……” sound and repeat the exercise. (7) Insist on practicing every day. 2, vocalization After developing certain habits of chest and abdominal breathing, you can practice vocalization. In fact, the correct vocalization is the correct exhalation on the basis of the correct inhalation, the correct exhalation is the use of abdominal gas to make the vocal cords vibrate and vocalize, which is also known as the use of the “Dantian Qi” vocalization. The key to how to use the breath to make the vocal cords vibrate is to open the throat. How to open the throat? It is very simple, just remember the feeling of yawning or the feeling when you take a cool breath. Keep the mouth in such a state, and then use the breath to vocalize. Vocal practice methods: (1) people in a natural upright state, the body should not be too tense, nor too loose. The mouth is opened to the extent that it can accommodate the width of the index and middle fingers together, keeping the throat open and the face naturally relaxed. (2) Put one hand on the abdomen, feel the breath sent up from the abdomen, quickly rush to the soft palate, and send a “ah” word. Repeat the exercise. (3) As above, slow down the breath and lengthen the word “ah ……”. (4) As above, you can take a poem or article and practice it, lengthening each word. (5) the same as above, except that the pitch is appropriately raised, or is constantly increasing. (6) Attention should be paid to the principle of gradual progress, and the time spent practicing should be appropriate and can be gradually extended. (7) If there is a vocal teacher to guide the premise, you can also carry out the practice of “shouting” to the distance, as if talking to a person a hundred meters away. For example, practice “you come ah ……”, the practice time should not be too long. Of course, at the beginning of the practice, it will feel unnatural. As long as you persevere, follow the principle of gradual progress, and keep making correct vocalization a habit, you will be able to use scientific methods of vocalization when using your voice. Do voice health exercises Breathing skills: abdominal breathing, fast inhalation and slow exhalation, inhalation is not full abdominal breathing, is the use of abdominal muscle contraction and pressure of a deep breathing. The abdominal muscles contract to increase the abdominal pressure, which pushes the diaphragm upward and increases the pressure in the chest cavity, thus making the exhalation of air from the lungs powerful. The method of training the inspiratory muscle groups: 1, the method of holding the breath The practice is to take a large breath first, after inhaling enough air, hold the breath, do not exhale, the longer you hold the breath the better. Slowly you can exercise the ability to hold your breath for a long time, that is, the ability to fix the thorax. 2, the method of counting The practice is to take a large breath, after taking a full breath, the thorax fixed; then with a very light and thin, only they can hear the voice count 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 …… until you can no longer count; then, take a breath again, so repeated training. This will count more and more numbers, and the time will be longer. It is best to be able to count to more than 50 in one breath. The following two audible exhalation training, laying the foundation for our voice control. (1) “Popping lips” exercise: lips closed, that is, with the breath impact on the lips, so that it makes a “toot” sound, must make the lips tremble, more to make the lips sound loud. The “lip popping” exercise should be experienced as follows: 1) use the feeling of slow contraction of the small abdominal muscles to compress the breath to impact the lips; 2) make the breath flow evenly from beginning to end, not a moment of more gas, a moment of less gas, even is the most critical; 3) experience your “lip popping” This is also a key exercise to control the breath. In addition, “lip popping” can also be used as a vocal massage exercise to help your tired voice recover as soon as possible. (2) “Humming” exercise: It refers to the nasal resonance, which prepares for the higher sound in the future, and bridges the upper and lower links of high and low tones. With the “humming” our voice will have a glow. The “humming” exercise is to hum with the mouth closed, and when the mouth is closed, we should feel a small mouthful of water in the mouth, the nasal cavity is erected, and then inhale deeply and hum. The same requirement is for the breath to be even and dynamic. Nasal resonance, not nasal resonance, it refers to the resonance through the sinuses, nasal cavity, palate sinus, while the nasal sound is sent directly to the nose. Remember that when “humming”, the sound is emitted at the top of the nasal cavity, at the center of the eyebrow, and you can practice with a single tone every day until the eyebrow vibrates. When we do these exercises, we can do simple vocal exercises. Vocal skills: the use of resonance, so that the larynx naturally put down the throat resonance cavity to adjust to a thick end and a thin end, this resonance position, the sound has an amplifying effect. Therefore, before vocalizing, open the mouth wide so that the back of the neck is erected, so that the epiglottis cartilage stands up, the tongue body is held up downward, so that the soft palate and the uvula are put down. A straight tube is formed. After the sound emanates from the vocal cords, it rushes upward directly to the top of the nasopharynx and returns at the top of the head. This sound is very loud, thick and metallic. This is the “cephalic vocal method”. To test whether this method is applied correctly, you only need to feel the back of the head and the top of the head for vibrations when speaking. Here I have chosen a vowel u, as the first exercise for vocal resonance. U (u) sound can effectively put down the throat, to the sound of the upper and lower smoothly laid the foundation, and then u vowel is more round, easy to focus, is irreplaceable by other vowels. So we call it a model sound, other vowels should try to feel in the u vowel, then your voice will be unified and round. When we practice the u sound, we should pay special attention to the following: (1) Do not press the larynx, make the larynx drop naturally, use deep inhalation to experience the larynx drop; (2) Relax the chin and tongue root, make the oropharynx not stiff; (3) Feel the nasal cavity, oral cavity and chest cavity are connected when pronouncing, like a smooth pipe. The correct u-vowel can feel the resonant vibration of both head and chest cavity. We usually use a single sound to find the feeling I mentioned above. With the foundation of u-vowel pronunciation, we can experience the breath of singing and realize that the voice does not depend on the throat alone (as people generally think), but it is the organic combination of the head cavity (treble), pharyngeal cavity (alto) and chest cavity (bass) to produce a smooth, round, penetrating and lasting sound. Before speaking, be sure to take a full breath, and then smoothly use the breath to speak slowly. Consciously lower the head forward, jaw inward, so that the neck muscles relax, the back of the neck naturally straight, so that the throat, nasopharynx resonance cavity into a straight line.
