When is the best time to drink Siwu Tang

  Siwu Tang should be taken according to the patient’s own condition. When the organism shows blood deficiency, it can be taken appropriately, usually in 3 divided doses in the morning, midday and evening.  Siwu Tang is composed of four herbs, including Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong, Radix Paeoniae Alba and Radix Rehmanniae, which are effective in nourishing the blood and regulating menstruation. It can be used when the body shows signs of blood deficiency or blood stasis, as well as anemia, deficiency of blood in the blood and poor blood flow. For women with low menstrual flow, delayed menstruation, or abdominal pain after menstruation, it is recommended to start drinking it on the first day after menstruation and take it for 3-5 days continuously, warm in the morning and evening on an empty stomach. In addition, Siwu Tang can strengthen the body’s immunity by tonifying Qi and Blood, making the body less susceptible to colds.  As a warm tonic, it is not recommended to be taken for a long time by people who usually do not have symptoms of blood deficiency, otherwise it will easily breed the evil of fire and heat and cause acne and mouth sores.
