Bile Duct Cancer Symptoms

  Bile duct cancer is a kind of malignant tumor of hepatobiliary system, which can be divided into extrahepatic bile duct cancer and intrahepatic bile duct cancer.  Cholangiocarcinoma may have no obvious manifestation in the early stage, or only atypical symptoms such as upper abdominal discomfort, pain and poor nausea.  Jaundice: obstructive jaundice is the most common symptom of extrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma, while intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma rarely shows jaundice. Upper and middle segment cholangiocarcinoma mostly shows progressive painless jaundice, while a few lower segment cholangiocarcinoma and jugular abdomen cancer may show fluctuating jaundice due to tumor necrosis and shedding.  2.Abdominal pain and discomfort: Some advanced patients and patients with combined gallstone disease may show symptoms such as pain in liver area and pain and discomfort in upper and middle abdomen.  3, chills, fever: combined with biliary tract infection can appear chills, high fever, and even acute obstructive purulent cholangitis may occur, often requiring emergency biliary drainage.  4, gastrointestinal symptoms: including loss of appetite, poor appetite, abdominal distension, diarrhea, nausea, etc.  5. Bleeding tendency: Patients with jaundice may have bleeding tendency and coagulation mechanism disorder, which may manifest as gum bleeding or nasal bleeding, and may also be complicated by severe cirrhosis with portal hypertensive upper gastrointestinal bleeding, etc.  The preliminary diagnosis of bile duct cancer can be made by combining clinical manifestations, laboratory and imaging examinations.
