Hidden scar laparoscopic cholecystectomy

The laparoscopic technique is the surgical procedure of choice for the surgical treatment of gallbladder disease and results in significantly smaller abdominal wall scars compared to traditional open surgery. However, the procedure still leaves 3 to 4 small scars in the upper abdomen. The “hidden scar” laparoscopic cholecystectomy is a special surgical method that cleverly hides the scar on the abdominal wall in the normal structure of the abdomen, making it difficult to detect the scar. It meets the modern demand for beauty. The procedure requires a certain level of experience and skill on the part of the attending surgeon. In recent years, our hospital has carried out hidden scar laparoscopic cholecystectomy based on a large number of conventional laparoscopic cholecystectomies, and has accumulated rich clinical experience.
