Liver cyst is a benign disease of the liver, which usually does not affect life expectancy, and those with liver cysts of 10cm mostly need surgical resection. Liver cysts are divided into parasitic and non-parasitic, the latter can be divided into congenital, traumatic, inflammatory and tumor, and congenital liver cysts are the most common. Small liver cysts often have no symptoms and do not require special treatment. If the tumor is large, such as 10cm, it may appear symptoms such as fullness after eating, nausea, vomiting, vague pain and discomfort in the right upper abdomen due to compression of adjacent organs, and the right upper abdominal mass and hepatomegaly can be palpated on examination. The mass is connected with the liver, with smooth surface, no obvious pressure pain, and it can be moved up and down with respiration, and fever and pain may appear in the case of co-infected patients, which may be treated with laparoscopic choledochotomy. For those with concomitant infection and intracystic hemorrhage, a drain needs to be placed postoperatively, and the drain tube is removed after the drainage fluid is clear and normal.
