Assurance that their surgery will be performed in an appropriately staffed and qualified operating room. Assurance that their surgery and initial recovery process will be supervised by qualified medical staff. Discharge them from the hospital in a stable condition and ready to go home. Provide appropriate follow-up throughout the recovery period.
