In recent years, the relevant surveys in China have shown that the high incidence of psychological disorders has become a prominent problem that endangers the physical and mental health of our youth. About 35% of our adolescents are suffering from psychological disorders. At present, the mental health problem of our youth has aroused the general concern of the society, and it is imperative to strengthen the mental health education for youth. Mental health refers to the development of an individual’s state of mind into an optimal state within the scope of physical, intellectual, and emotional health that does not contradict the mental health of others. This is manifested by: being very coordinated physically, intellectually, and emotionally; adapting to the environment and being able to be humble to each other in interpersonal relationships; having a sense of well-being; and being able to give full play to one’s abilities and lead an efficient life in work and study. The mental health standards for adolescents are: 1. Normal intelligence. 2. moderate emotions. 3. Sound will. 4. Unity of personality. 5. Harmonious interpersonal relationships. 6.Coordination with society. 7.Psychological characteristics in line with the age. I. Attaching great importance to the work of mental health education for adolescents Adolescents are the future of the country, due to the instability of their mental activity state; the incompleteness of their cognitive structure; the unsynchronized physiological maturity and psychological maturity; the conflict of rebellion and dependence on society and family; the alternation of achievement and frustration, etc., which makes their anxiety heavier. Moreover, due to the fragile self-awareness, superficial life experience and low resistance to frustration, adolescents are more likely to develop psychological disorders. If temporary psychological disorders are not eliminated in time, they will produce adverse reactions, which will affect the healthy development of the psyche and lead to mental illnesses that are difficult to save later. Therefore, adolescence is an extraordinary period that is prone to psychological abnormalities, and the whole society should strengthen the mental health education for adolescents. Second, improve the mental health of parents and teachers Parents are the initiators of their children, and together with teachers, they form the backbone of teaching. Parents and teachers play a very important role in the development of physically and mentally healthy, comprehensive and harmonious personality development. Parents’ words and teachings implicitly influence their children’s mental health. Teachers are responsible for “preaching, teaching and solving problems”, and their every action has a great influence. Therefore, parents and teachers should study health psychology, educational psychology, counseling psychology and other related disciplines comprehensively and thoroughly, and consciously apply scientific theories to sort out their emotions and adjust their psychological state. Only in this way can we properly guide and solve the various intricate psychological phenomena that exist in young people and become a qualified counselor of mental health education. Third, there should be professional mental health educators in primary and secondary schools to implement psychological intervention 1. Seriously carry out mental health education courses and hold mental health lectures to help young people understand psychological knowledge and master certain self-psychological adjustment techniques. 2, mental health education in the teaching of various subjects, permeability of mental health education. 3.To carry out various forms of psychological counseling and counselling work. Schools should set up psychological counseling rooms, psychological counseling hotlines, psychological counseling mailboxes, the establishment of student mental health files, individual and group counseling, telephone counseling, letter counseling, column counseling, the use of scientific and professional methods to treat the symptoms, so that students can be timely correction of psychological problems and behavioral problems. 4.Take into account the promotion of mental health to parents and other people in society to create a good family and social environment. Fourth, the establishment and improvement of a good social support system 1, coordination of teacher-student relations. Teachers’ lack of understanding and distrust of students can lead to confrontation, and teachers’ cognitive biases can bring students psychological depression and aggressive behavior. During adolescence, teachers are still one of the role models for students and representatives of justice, and when they encounter problems, they want to be understood, cared for and loved by teachers. If teachers lack tolerance and patience and fail to give guidance and help in a calm manner, but instead make accusations, students will be disappointed and more likely to rebel. The teacher’s lack of respect for the students, devaluing their bad attitude will make the students suffer serious psychological trauma. 2, the coordination of parent-child relationship. The parent-child relationship is the natural blood and human relationships in the family, such as parents and children, brothers and sisters. A democratic and relaxed family gives adolescents a warm harbor, while an authoritarian and strict family will cause family members to fail to communicate and exchange normally with each other, which will easily develop the child’s withdrawn and domineering personality. Therefore, the psychological health maintenance of adolescents must take the family as the starting point, rely on the good quality and harmonious relationship of all family members, and work together to create a healthy and good growth environment for each life. 3. Coordinate the relationship between classmates and friends. In addition to the understanding and support of teachers, adolescents also want to be accepted by their classmates and friends, and crave the understanding and trust of their classmates and friends. If the relationship between classmates and friends is not harmonious, or even tense, it will present a lonely, bitter, depressed emotional state. Schools and families should, through various forms, advocate that adolescents should have extensive contact with society, make friends, establish interpersonal relationships of mutual understanding, trust and concern in daily interactions, make progress in interactions, and overcome bad psychology such as tension, fear, inferiority complex, loneliness, prejudice, hostility, suspicion and jealousy. Fifth, if adolescents are found to have obvious maladjustment, inattentive learning or declining academic performance, odd abnormal behavior, anxiety and depression, they should seek help from psychologists.
