Difference between plum pneumonia and esophageal cancer

From the perspective of Chinese medicine, plum kernel gas belongs to chronic pharyngitis, which usually results in different degrees of coughing, coughing up phlegm, itching in the throat, foreign body sensation in the throat, or pain in the throat. If the congestion and edema of the pharynx are obvious, choking may occur. Esophageal cancer is a malignant tumor in the esophagus. When the tumor compresses the esophagus, it may lead to nausea, vomiting, and even foreign body sensation, obstructed swallowing, and vomiting blood may occur. As the condition of esophageal cancer progresses, it may also lead to inability to eat and the symptoms of emaciation, weakness and persistent low fever. Special clinical examinations can also make a difference, such as endoscopy of the pharynx, which can clearly show congestion and edema of the pharyngeal mucosa, as well as different degrees of follicular hyperplasia. Through esophagoscopy of the esophagus, tumors of the esophagus can be examined and biopsies can be taken for pathological examination, which can detect cancer cells.
