How to treat fundus mesoplasma

There is no special drug treatment for central plasma in the fundus, and laser photocoagulation is feasible if the leakage point is far away from the central pit.
Middle plasma, i.e., central plasma choroidal retinopathy, is most common in young adults, manifested by decreased visual acuity, distortion of vision, smaller and darker vision, and no inflammation in the anterior segment of the eye.
The disease is self-limiting with recurrence. Most of the patients will recover in 3-6 months, but the duration of visual distortion can be more than one year. Some patients with multiple recurrences and prolonged healing will have the possibility to choroidal neovascularization or polypoid choroidal vasculopathy.
There is no specific drug treatment for this disease. If the leakage point is far away from the center of the concavity, laser can be used to close the leakage point, but vasodilators and glucocorticosteroids are prohibited. If choroidal neovascularization or polypoid choroidal vasculopathy is present, it should be treated according to the appropriate diagnostic criteria.
The specific treatment of fundus intermedius should also be based on the patient’s own situation, and it is recommended to complete the relevant examinations in the hospital and consult a specialist to clarify the treatment method.
