What should I do if I have “mid-pulp”? The main symptoms are darkening of vision, loss of visual acuity, or larger and smaller visual objects. The disease is generally a relatively benign disease and is generally considered to have a self-limiting tendency, but if left untreated and often recurring, eventually vision is sure to be severely damaged. The traditional approach in the past was to first observe the disease for about 3 months, and if the symptoms do not improve, or if some patients have a higher demand for vision and a more urgent desire for treatment, and the fundus fluorescence imaging confirms that the leak is not in the center of the macula or adjacent to it, laser seal coagulation can be considered. However, if: 1. the leakage point is close to the central macula; or 2. the leakage point is many and diffuse, it is recommended to perform: photodynamic therapy (PDT). We have done a lot of them with very good results. The disadvantage is that it is more expensive. There is no special oral medication for CPS.
