For the average patient, within 1 week is the most uncomfortable time to quit smoking. Most patients who smoke have a 60% relapse rate within 7 days, and some patients may experience a strong withdrawal reaction on the first day due to their long-term dependence on tobacco. After quitting smoking, patients are prone to physical and psychological discomfort such as headache, fatigue, anxiety, impatience, and fidgeting. These uncomfortable symptoms will gradually decrease after 2 weeks of quitting if they can be adhered to; the symptoms will basically disappear after 1 month; and after adhering to it for some more time, patients will have symptoms such as coughing when they smell smoke or smoke again.
