Can ichthyosis be cured?

Ichthyosis is currently incurable, but a series of symptomatic treatments can be used to alleviate clinical symptoms. 1. Ichthyosis is a heterogeneous group of hereditary keratosis, characterized by different degrees of skin flaking all over the body. The clinical manifestations of patients are dry and rough skin, which can be seen as ichthyosis-like flakes. 2. At present, the common clinical treatment of ichthyosis is based on symptomatic treatment to alleviate the clinical symptoms, and there is still no specific drug that can cure ichthyosis. 3. Treatment is aimed at removing scales, reducing dryness and improving skin appearance. Treatment includes regular bathing and the use of moisturizers and exfoliators such as urea and alpha hydroxy acids. If any of the above symptoms occur, it is recommended to visit a hospital for early and regular treatment.
