Pre-depression symptoms and treatment

Pre-symptoms of depression may include somatic discomfort, such as general fatigue, lack of energy, poor sleep, poor or increased diet, and possibly loss of libido, as well as physical peripheral discomfort, or cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and gastrointestinal discomfort. There may also be inexplicable aggression, sadness, crying or sighing. Clinically, early treatment is recommended, such as psychotherapy, mainly using cognitive-behavioral therapy and psychoanalysis, so that patients can recognize and understand depressive mood, analyze the causes and find solutions to prevent the aggravation of depressive symptoms. If there is a recurrence of depression or a family history of depression, preventive medication, that is, treatment with antidepressants, or small doses of antipsychotic drugs, is recommended.
