High grade squamous intraepithelial lesions are precancerous and have not yet reached cancerous grade, while the survival time of patients with high grade squamous intraepithelial lesions varies somewhat depending on individual circumstances. High squamous intraepithelial lesions include mild atypical hyperplasia, severe atypical hyperplasia, and carcinoma in situ. Most patients with mild atypical hyperplasia can be cured after intervention with aggressive therapeutic measures, and their survival time is no different from normal. In case of severe atypical hyperplasia and carcinoma in situ, most of them need to adopt conization surgery to further define the nature of the lesion and take corresponding intervention measures. If the patient does not continue to develop after treatment, the survival time will be the same as normal; if the patient does not receive timely treatment, the survival time may be shortened, depending on the speed of disease development. Therefore, once a patient is found to have a high degree of squamous intraepithelial lesion, he or she should visit the gynecology department of the hospital as early as possible and take the correct measures to intervene under the guidance of a gynecologist to prevent further development of the disease.
