According to Chinese medicine, most menopausal syndromes have the manifestations of kidney yang deficiency, kidney yin deficiency or kidney yin and yang deficiency, as follows: 1. kidney yang deficiency: the manifestations include fear of cold extremities, white face, blue lips, pale tongue with white fur, tongue with teeth marks, loose stools, sullen or sunken pulse, and often silent and listless performance; 2. kidney yin deficiency: there are often symptoms of five heart trouble, hot flashes and night sweats, red cheeks, red and dry tongue, irritability and dizziness; 3. kidney yin and yang deficiency: there are both of the above two symptoms, and the treatment is relatively difficult.
