There are many medications to regulate female menopause, and different treatments are taken for different needs and different underlying health conditions, in order to improve some of the adverse effects of women due to lack of hormone levels, and to allow menopausal transition and post-menopausal women to go through menopause in a healthy way. The main drugs include non-hormone replacement drugs such as Kuntai capsules, some phytoestrogens such as black ascorbic acid and soy isoflavones, and other hormone replacement drugs. Commonly used oral preparations include estrogen preparations such as estradiol valerate and 17β-estradiol; progesterone preparations such as micronized progesterone and deferiprone tablets; and some compound preparations such as estradiol valerate, estradiol deferiprone tablets and tibolone. There are also some transdermal estrogens, such as estradiol gel; and some transvaginal estrogen preparations, such as estriol cream and progesterone cream. However, the above drugs can bring side effects such as endometrial cancer, breast cancer, and venous thrombosis if applied irrationally, and need to be used under the guidance and monitoring of a physician.
