Cervical cancer is not only a medical problem, but also a social problem due to its specific causes. Fortunately, we not only know that cervical cancer has a long precancerous stage, but also have a proven “three-step” screening method for early prevention and treatment of cervical cancer: “cervical smear → colposcopy → biopsy”. 1.Cervical smear: Previously, cervical smear was performed by Pap smear method, but nowadays, liquid-based thin-layer method is mostly used in large hospitals, which can constantly read the smear automatically and can improve the sensitivity of detecting lesions. 2.Colposcopy: If the smear is suspicious, further colposcopy can be performed and the lesion site can be selected for biopsy to improve the diagnosis rate. 3.Cervical and cervical canal biopsy: It is the most reliable and indispensable method to confirm the diagnosis of cervical cancer.
