What are the symptoms of Behçet’s disease?

If someone has several occurrences of red, sore eyes and frequent mouth ulcers, they must be alerted to the possibility of having leukoaraiosis. “Leukoaraiosis” is a Western medical diagnostic term, also known as Leukoaraiosis syndrome, or oculo-oral genital syndrome. There are three main groups of symptoms: 1, eye lesions some patients can also be manifested as eye lesions, eye redness, swelling, pain, photophobia or vision loss, blurred vision, can be one or two eyes involved. If you go to the ophthalmology department, the diagnosis is “iris ciliary” or “uveitis”; 2. oral ulcers: patients mainly show recurrent oral ulcers, often recurrent, severe pain, affecting eating; 3. genital ulcers patients can also appear vulvar ulcers, such as male and female genital ulcers, these parts of the ulcer can be larger and can be solitary. A patient with all three sets of symptoms is diagnosed with leukocephalus. Modern medicine believes that the cause of the disease is not fully understood and has been identified as a systemic immune system disorder, for which there is no pharmacological treatment for the cause and no effective measures to prevent recurrence. Therefore, with leukoaraiosis, whether to control acute attacks or prevent recurrence, it is important to seek timely diagnosis and treatment with a combination of Chinese and Western medicine, with emphasis on Chinese medicine evidence-based treatment, with the hope of ideal control.
