Where are prostate diseases distributed?

The nerves associated with the prostate are more widely distributed. They mainly come from the pelvic plexus around the rectum, and consist of sympathetic nerves from the thoracic 11 – lumbar 2 segments and parasympathetic nerves from the sacral 2 – sacral 4 segments. In addition to the sacral plexus nerves, some nerves innervating the vas deferens, scrotum, and perineum also have branches connected to the prostate. Therefore, when the prostate gland has a lesion, it will often affect the distribution range of the nerves associated with the prostate gland, and the corresponding parts of the human body will experience pain and discomfort and other clinical symptoms.
