What are the symptoms of ichthyosis

Ichthyosis is not uncommon in clinical practice and has a probability of occurring in about 1% of cases. Ichthyosis occurs when the skin on the extremities or trunk is dry and rough, and the skin has a snakeskin-like appearance with a hard epidermis. There are many types of ichthyosis, most of which do not affect life, but mainly appearance. However, there is one type of ichthyosis, such as congenital herpetic ichthyosis-like erythrodermatosis, with epidermolysis bullosa hyperkeratotic ichthyosis on the right, which is prone to planned infections. Current studies have also confirmed that sepsis may occur in more severe cases of planned infections, leading to water-electrolyte disturbances, which may affect the patient’s health and even lead to death in certain weak patients. Therefore, do not wait for ichthyosis to be treated idly, through ichthyosis should be detected early, diagnosed early and treated early in order to avoid the progress of ichthyosis symptoms.
