Good voice is known as the second face of a person, some voice tone is thick, round, bright; some bold, spirited lyrical, soft; some yin and yang staccato often admired and envied. Beautiful voice in addition to the innate physical conditions of the voice, but also with attention to the sound of health care is closely related. Correct vocalization depends on the coordination of three aspects, namely: 1, the role of the chest, back, abdominal muscles, the discharge of gas in the lungs. 2, both sides of the vocal cords to the midline, by the impact of airflow from the lungs, so that the vocal cords vibrate. 3, through the sinuses, mouth, throat, thorax and other organs to make the sound resonate. Any disorder in the vocal cord can cause vocal disorder or voice quality change. Speech effort, easy fatigue, and poor tone are common symptoms of patients with voice disorders. The causes are mostly related to excessive tension in the laryngeal muscles and adjacent organ muscles during vocalization. It is the main task of voice training to guide patients to make their voices with sufficient relaxation of the muscles in the larynx and other areas. If you want to have a good voice, you should pay attention to the following points in your daily life: 1. Maintain a healthy body and mind, pay attention to exercise, often participate in running, climbing and playing ball, etc. This will not only strengthen your body and improve your ability to resist diseases, but also increase your lung capacity and lay a good foundation for inhalation, exhalation and pronunciation; 2. Ensure sufficient sleep and proper rest, which is good for the vocal organs to recover their functions; 3. Pay attention to dietary hygiene, quit smoking and drink less alcohol, and eat less hot, cold and spicy food; 4. Conduct proper voice training. If you are weak or a beginner, you should practice your voice for a short period of time and a small number of times a day; if you are strong or have a foundation, you can extend your voice training time appropriately, and you should not practice your voice more than the inherent ability of your vocal cords. There are many methods of voice training, such as pharyngeal training method, breathing and nasal training method, qigong voice training method, etc. It is better to practice voice step by step under the guidance of professional voice teachers. Some experts recommend the “self-training method”, which involves breathing evenly and relaxing the muscles in the shoulders and back, throat, chest and abdomen. Avoid hunching back, abdomen, head and neck protrusion and other bad posture; and pay attention to the jaw should be basically in the horizontal position, so that the root of the jaw and the front of the neck is about 90 degrees; relaxation of the laryngeal muscle is the basic requirements of the practice, in order to understand the tension of the laryngeal muscle, with the thumb and index finger, the middle finger were placed with the thyroid cartilage on both sides of the pterygoid plate, to the left and right sides to move the laryngeal body, such as the correct vocal method, laryngeal muscle relaxation, laryngeal head body move freely, and vice versa. On the contrary, if the laryngeal body does not move easily, it indicates that the laryngeal muscles are in a state of panic when vocalizing and need to be corrected; this method is simple and easy to use, and if it is persistent, it can exercise the respiratory muscles and improve the pronunciation; 5, timely treatment of voice diseases, due to the recent excessive use of voice caused by the front and middle part of the vocal cord in the symmetrical swelling, protrusion, can be regarded as a normal response to timely vocal cord rest for treatment. For tiny vocal fold polyps or vocal fold nodules, surgery should not be performed immediately. We advocate voice treatment first to improve the vocal method and observe for 6-12 weeks before deciding whether to operate or not. Surgery should be performed by voice microsurgery with submucosal excision of the lesion to reduce damage to the vocal fold edges so that scar formation does not hinder vocal fold edge vibration and to maximize protection of special tissue structures such as the vocal fold epithelium and lamina propria that affect voice quality, and vocal fold rest is required within 1-2 weeks after surgery.
