1. Pre-operative preparation Pre-operative routine examination: naked eye vision, best corrected visual acuity, intraocular pressure, tear duct flushing.

Whole body health examination: routine blood, urine, electrocardiogram, chest X-ray, liver and kidney function and immune system, diabetic patients also need to check blood sugar. Routine anti-inflammatory eye drops for 1-3 days before surgery.

2.Intraoperative cooperation During the operation, you should overcome your tension and relax your spirit. Keep your head, hands and body still and explain any discomfort to the doctor at any time. The whole operation is supervised by experienced anesthesiologists, so there is no need to worry too much about the safety of the operation.

If surface anesthesia is used, the patient’s cooperation will be very important, and the position of the eye should be adjusted according to the doctor’s guidelines.

3.Post-operative precautions After the surgery, come to the hospital for a review and determine the medication to be used at home and the next follow-up date according to the doctor’s prescription. If blurred eyes, mild foreign body sensation and light congestion in the eyes are normal after surgery. If significant eye pain, nausea, vomiting or sudden loss of vision occurs, please do not be nervous and go to the hospital immediately. Do not allow dirty water or soapy water into the operated eye for two weeks after surgery, do not apply pressure to the operated eye (rubbing the eye) for four weeks and prevent trauma.
