Have you experienced menopause?

After the age of 40, menopause comes quietly as ovarian function gradually declines in women. There are hundreds of manifestations of menopausal symptoms. The earliest menopausal symptoms that appear are changes in menstruation, such as shortened or disrupted menstrual cycles, followed by occasional or gradually frequent flushing, hot flashes, and general discomfort; followed by unexplained anxiety, difficult-to-regulate emotions, and sleep disturbances. Early symptoms are easily ignored by most women, and if not recognized and intervened early, symptoms of bone loss such as low back pain and joint pain will usually appear 3-5 years after menopause in varying degrees. When you experience these symptoms, you should be alert to the onset of menopause syndrome. Menopause is a turning point in every woman’s health, commonly referred to as the “eventful season”, and requires careful care through a healthy lifestyle and consultation with a doctor.
