Chinese people finally have their own mental health standards, this is the good news that the reporter learned from the 20th anniversary celebration of the Zhejiang Mental Health Association and the Ninth Annual Academic Conference held here. Professor Cai Zhuoji, chairman of the Chinese Mental Health Association, in the academic report entitled “Maintaining Mental Health and Building a Harmonious Society DD Mental Health Concepts and Standards”, introduced for the first time publicly the Chinese mental health standards and the process of establishing them. It is understood that the World Health Organization established a global definition of health 60 years ago (1948): “not only the absence of disease and infirmity, but also the physical, mental and social integrity of the individual.” However, there has been no definition or criteria for mental health. There is also a gap in the elements of mental health criteria and evaluation for Chinese people. Recently, Chinese mental health experts have established six criteria and evaluation elements of Chinese mental health through repeated surveys and studies: (Self-harmony) One is, self-knowledge and self-acceptance. Evaluation elements: self-knowledge and self-acceptance; second, emotional stability and a sense of security. Evaluation elements: emotional stability, emotional control, positive emotions, sense of security; Third, self-learning, independent living. Evaluation elements: life skills, learning skills, problem-solving skills; (interpersonal harmony) Fourth, interpersonal harmony. Evaluation elements: good interpersonal skills, interpersonal satisfaction, acceptance of others; (social harmony) Fifth, role function harmonization. Evaluation elements: role function, behavior in accordance with age, behavior in accordance with the environment, and achievement of personal satisfaction; Sixth, adaptation to the environment and coping with frustration. Evaluation elements: exposure to reality, acceptance of reality, frustration coping. The main can be divided into 3 parts: self-harmony, interpersonal harmony, and social harmony. Cai Zhuoji, one of the main experts in the research and development of Chinese mental health standards and evaluation elements, told the reporter that the research of Chinese mental health standards is based on two backgrounds: First, the impact of mental health on the happiness of life and on the construction of a harmonious society has become increasingly obvious; second, the Party and the State attach great importance to the maintenance of mental health in China, and the significance of mental health has been highly valued by the State and fully recognized by society. The significance of mental health has been highly valued by the state and fully recognized by the society. After discussion, experts have initially drawn up 14 criteria for the mental health of Chinese people: first, intelligence: normal intelligence; second, realism: adapting to the surrounding environment and being able to face and accept reality; third, interpersonal relationships: coordination of interpersonal relationships; fourth, social morality: behaving in accordance with social norms; fifth, social role function: being able to effectively exercise the functions of social roles; sixth, self-understanding: objectively evaluating and demanding oneself; seventh , self-understanding: self-esteem, self-confidence, self-acceptance; eight, subjective experience: have a sense of security and happiness; nine, compassion and love: have compassion and love; ten, emotional health: have a happy state of mind and emotional stability; eleven, will health: have independence, decisiveness, persistence and self-control; twelve, psychological characteristics consistent with age: psychological behavior consistent with age; thirteen, self-actualization. Have positive life goals; fourteen is, personality integrity and harmony: sound personality, mental activities and behavior in a harmonious manner. It is reported that this time, the researchers made up an expert opinion draft of these 14 criteria and then sought the opinions of scholars who have a long and in-depth study in the field of mental health or psychology in each province of the country. In the processing, the principles adopted were: analyzing the agreement rate of experts and retaining the standards with an agreement rate of R95.0%; classifying the expert opinions into four categories: merging, deleting, modifying, and others, and conducting statistics and further modifications based on the more concentrated expert opinions. After analysis, the following 10 criteria of mental health were obtained: basically normal intellectual activity; adapting to the environment and coping with reality; harmonious interpersonal relationships; knowing and accepting oneself; emotional stability and security; harmonious and consistent mental activity; good social role function; compassion and love; independence, decisiveness, perseverance and self-control (healthy will); realistic and positive attitude towards life. Finally, the experts offered three words of encouragement: to walk together in the process of maintaining mental and physical health; to encourage each other in the pursuit of a rainbow-like life; and to advance in the journey of building a harmonious society.
