Fasciitis is mainly a fixed painful area on the attachment point of the tendon or on the muscle belly. Fasciitis of the leg can be characterized by soreness and pain in the leg muscles, which can radiate to the lower abdomen and perineum, and the pain increases when moving, squatting, turning over or touching the leg muscles. When the pain is acute, it can be difficult to walk due to the severity of the pain, which can seriously affect the patient’s daily life. Treatment of leg fasciitis can be given with oral ibuprofen, diclofenac and conservative treatments such as physical therapy, hot compresses and acupuncture. If conservative treatment is not effective, surgery is required.
