How to treat white lesions of the vulva

White vulvar lesions, also known as vulvar leukodystrophy or vulvar dystrophy, are a group of chronic diseases in which the skin of the female vulva becomes degenerate and hypopigmented. Patients mainly present with unbearable vulvar itching and whitening of the skin. Traditional treatment methods such as topical medication, laser, Bohm and microwave therapy, all of which work on the superficial layer of the skin, can relieve the itching but are not durable and prone to recurrence. At present, focused ultrasound treatment can effectively relieve the itching symptoms and restore the normal skin lesions with an efficiency of more than 95%. What is the difference between focused ultrasound treatment and other methods? ①Focused ultrasound has good penetration and localization, which can focus ultrasound energy in the lesioned tissue (dermis), destroy the lesioned tissue, improve microcirculation and nerve endings nutrition, and restore the vulvar skin to normal. ②The dose of ultrasound treatment is easy to grasp, with high safety. After treatment, only transient edema occurs locally, and the epidermis remains intact, without the skin repair process of crusting and shedding after laser and microwave treatment, with fast recovery after surgery. ③Usually, one treatment can achieve the treatment purpose.
