Metabolic acidosis has the following manifestations: 1. After acidosis, patients will show symptoms of central nervous system damage, early on they will show excitement, mania and irritability, then they will show drowsiness, weakness and tiredness, also they will show headache, dizziness and even coma and shock. 2. Patients with ketoacidosis can show symptoms of gastrointestinal irritation such as rotten apple taste in the mouth, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea and poor appetite. 3. After acidosis, patients may also experience respiratory and cardiovascular symptoms, such as fast and deep breathing, rapid or slow heartbeat and other arrhythmias, while some patients may also experience electrolyte disorders such as general convulsions and numbness of the limbs.
