Probiotics can be taken for symptomatic treatment of mesenteric seborrheic membrane inflammation, but this kind of drug is not the main treatment of this disease, the specific diagnosis and treatment should follow the doctor’s advice.
Probiotics (commonly used preparations of Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium) are mainly used for the treatment of constipation, diarrhea and other gastrointestinal symptoms related to intestinal flora disorders. Patients with mesenteric seborrhoea may suffer from intestinal dysfunction due to chronic inflammatory reactions in the intestinal tract, and then probiotic preparations can be used for symptomatic treatment.
However, it should be noted that probiotic preparations can only be used as an adjunctive treatment for mesenteric sebaceous membrane inflammation, and in order to fundamentally control the intestinal inflammatory response, it is necessary to use glucocorticosteroids (e.g., hydrocortisone), immunosuppressants (e.g., methotrexate) and other medications, and surgical procedures (e.g., intestinal adhesion release) are also required when complications such as intestinal obstruction occur.
It should also be noted that the contraindications and adverse effects of probiotic preparations are unclear. Therefore, if the diagnosis of mesenteric lipomatosis is confirmed, an individualized treatment plan must be formulated under the guidance of a doctor, and the medication must be administered according to the doctor’s instructions in order to strive for a good prognosis. Do not dispose of them on your own, blindly use drugs, in order to avoid improper intervention, resulting in adverse consequences.
