How long does duodenal ulcer pain last?

Duodenal ulcers are painful and usually last no more than half an hour if medication or meals are taken in a timely manner. In clinical peptic ulcers include gastric ulcers and duodenal ulcers, duodenal ulcers usually develop in young people, mainly associated with poor dietary habits, Helicobacter pylori infection and staying up late, straining, eating spicy, irritating food. The pain of duodenal ulcer is characterized by fasting pain, which causes ulceration of the duodenal bulb because of the secretion of more gastric acid, and can be relieved after eating, and by taking acid suppressants, such as omeprazole. Therefore, for duodenal ulcer pain, it can usually be relieved in about half an hour after eating or taking medication in time.
