How to perform functional exercises in patients with myofasciitis

Some of the more common clinical myofasciitis are: lumbodorsal myofasciitis (lumbar strain), thoracodorsal myofasciitis, and collar and back myofasciitis (including cervical and shoulder myofasciitis). If left untreated, fasciitis can lead to muscle atrophy, nerve entrapment, and may cause or aggravate other disorders of the spine. In addition, its frequent recurrence makes it difficult for patients to concentrate on their studies and work, and even causes psychological problems such as anxiety and depression. Myofasciitis is the dorsal membrane of the muscle, through which the nerves and blood vessels entering and leaving the muscle must pass in order to innervate, sense and nourish the muscle. The muscle is the basic unit of power of human activity, such as long-term postural fixation or psychological depression, it can cause physiological contracture at the level of local muscle joints, while long-term repeated myospasm causes muscle ischemia, triggering sterile exudation, leading to scar formation, local myofascia often undergoes postural load and extreme tension, fatigue causes postural injury, repeated exertion causes muscle micro-tearing injury, in the myofascial microvascular reaction area Pain-causing substances appear around the area. Scar tissue can reduce the number of local blood vessels or reduce the diameter of the vessels, which can easily lead to insufficient blood supply to the muscle and loss of anaerobic work capacity; and can lead to nerve compression. At the same time, the local ischemia of the muscle causes pain due to the stimulation of its peripheral nerves, and the pain can lead to muscle contraction, thus the blood supply decreases, and the ischemia can induce and aggravate the sterile inflammatory reaction, and the scar is aggravated. In other words it is a vicious circle! Principles of myofasciitis prevention and treatment It is clear from the pathogenesis of this disease that it is closely related to the improper use of muscles or external injuries. As a modern person, the most common cause of “misuse” is poor lifestyle habits. One of the most common is continuous sedentary, standing or head down, with very little intermittent activity. Therefore, to prevent the occurrence of this type of disease, in addition to the prevention of cold and damp invasion, the focus is to change the bad habits, pay attention to the work intervals and exercise of the relevant muscle groups.
