Symptoms of thigh fasciitis

Thighs that develop fascia often show the following symptoms. 1. There may be localized pain. The pain is often confined to a certain group, or bundle of muscles. The pain may increase when the patient tries to flex and extend the lower extremity. 2. Swelling may be present. Sometimes the swelling may be diffuse throughout the thigh, and sometimes it may be swollen within a muscle group, meaning that even when the patient is very relaxed, touching a group of muscles in the thigh may feel very hard and induce severe pain when pressed. 3. It may lead to severe limitations. Fasciitis in the thigh area can cause impairment in the movement of the muscles of the thigh. The patient will be significantly restricted in standing upright or flexing and extending the lower limbs.4. It may also cause ischemic symptoms in the thighs and calves due to vascular compression, which may cause local muscle and skin to become cold, purple and numb.
