Symptoms of thoracodorsal fasciitis

Thoracic dorsal fasciitis is an aseptic inflammatory reaction of the connective tissue of the muscles and fascia of the thoracic back caused by a variety of etiologies. It is not uncommon in clinical practice and its main clinical manifestation is diffuse dull pain and soreness in the muscles of the chest and back. It is due to stimulation of the sensory nerves between the muscle fascia by inflammatory substances in the inflammatory environment and compression of the inflammatory edematous tissue. Some patients have localized stiffness when touched, most notably in the interscapular region on both sides. In severe cases, it can affect the movement of the shoulder joint and restrict the movement, which seriously affects the quality of life of patients.
