After gallbladder stones are found, ultrasound review should be done every 3 months to 6 months, and regular follow-up should not be taken care of. If necessary, imaging tests such as CT, endoscopic ultrasound, and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) should be received to assist in the diagnosis. Currently, cholecystectomy for gallbladder disease has been performed with proven therapeutic results. With the rapid development of laparoscopic surgery, minimally invasive cholecystectomy has largely reduced the pain of patients, and most of them can eat and get out of bed on the same day after surgery and can be discharged from the hospital in a few days. It is now believed that symptomatic gallbladder stones or asymptomatic gallbladder-filling stones, as well as patients of advanced age and good health, do not need to wait for acute attacks and should be surgically removed early.
