Fasciitis is primarily a fixed painful site on the attachment point of the tendon or on the muscle belly. Leg fasciitis may manifest as soreness and painful discomfort in the leg muscles, which may radiate to the lower abdomen and perineum. The pain worsens when moving, squatting, turning or touching the leg muscles. When the pain is severe during an acute attack, it can cause difficulty walking and seriously affect daily life. Treatment of leg fasciitis may include oral ibuprofen, diclofenac, and conservative treatments such as physical therapy, hot compresses, and acupuncture.
