Mucinous liposarcoma left unattended for 2 years may cause the patient’s liposarcoma to gradually increase in size and can trigger painful symptoms.
Mucinous liposarcoma is a malignant tumor that proliferates more actively and rapidly. Without timely and effective treatment, with the prolongation of 2 years, liposarcoma may lead to the enlargement of liposarcoma or spread all over the body with pain symptoms, thus increasing the difficulty of treatment.
Patients with mucinous liposarcoma may find an obvious mass in the locally involved area, which is currently treated mainly by surgery. When the tumor growth site is shallow and not closely connected with the surrounding tissues, and there are no important organs and tissues around, the treatment effect is better. The tumor can be completely resected by surgery, and recurrence is generally not easy after complete removal of the tumor margins.
When patients present with mucinous liposarcoma, it is recommended that they go to regular hospitals for active treatment in time to avoid delay or aggravation of the condition.
