Enlarged turbinates first need to be treated according to the cause of the disease. If the symptoms are mild and insignificant, conservative treatment based on medication can be adopted. If the symptoms are severe and conservative treatment is ineffective, surgical treatment is the main treatment, and the commonly used modalities are low-temperature plasma, radiofrequency, freezing, laser, microwave and surgery. In addition, turbinate hypertrophy due to severe deviation of the nasal septum is only effectively treated by surgery.
