What causes viral conjunctivitis?

Viral conjunctivitis is caused by viral infections, commonly adenovirus, microRNA virus, herpes simplex virus, attenuated cowpox vaccine, etc. Since viral conjunctivitis is mainly transmitted through contact, so objects that have touched the patient’s tears, secretions or contact, and then touch the eye will be infected.
